Real change in my life came from choosing to live and work in line with my values of honesty, courage, accountability and compassion. That has meant making difficult decisions, tolerating short-term discomfort and taking responsibility for long-term change.
I lead myself using the same leadership principles shared in my work. My life is free from alcohol and other drugs. Unhelpful thinking is challenged, and openness has replaced hiding.
Creating safe learning environments matters deeply to me. Spaces where people feel able to ask questions, be honest and learn without fear of judgement are where growth happens. Teaching, supporting others and making a meaningful difference is at the heart of everything I do.
