Youth Mental Health First Aid

Youth Mental Health First Aid gives teachers and volunteers the confidence to recognise early signs of mental health difficulties in children and young people, and to respond in a calm, supportive and appropriate way.

For Teachers & Volunteers Supporting Vulnerable Young People

I deliver this FAA Ofqual-regulated qualification in a psychologically safe learning environment, where questions are welcomed and learning feels supportive, not overwhelming.

As a mother with lived experience, I understand the realities faced by children and young people — particularly those who are vulnerable — and the responsibility carried by the adults supporting them.

This training helps staff and volunteers:
  • Notice changes in behaviour and emotional wellbeing
  • Have supportive, age-appropriate conversations
  • Stay within professional boundaries
  • Know when and how to seek further support
Creating safety for children starts with confident, informed adults.
“The training was thorough, enjoyable and very well delivered. The learning environment felt supportive and open, and the content was easy to understand while still being detailed and meaningful.”
